Good that you are taking steps in the right direction (I was going to try for some double entendre, but couldn't make it happen). <BR/><BR/>Have you ever read The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman? I really, really liked it. It's all about how to communicate love to your partner (or children) in a way that he or she can understand. The five ways are <BR/>*acts of service<BR/>*physical touch<BR/>*words of affirmation<BR/>*gifts<BR/>*quality time.<BR/><BR/>Everybody experiences them all to some degree, but we all have one that is more important.<BR/><BR/>Most people give love in the way that works best for themselves, but you have to learn what your partner is most receptive to. The book is peppered with biblical references, which I could do without, but they aren't too intrusive.
